Mission Houses Museum
A postcard picture showing the three mission houses completed in 1821, 1831 and 1841 respectively.
The U.S. mission houses buildings were used as homes and workplaces by the first Christian U.S. missionaries in Hawaii.
The U.S. Missionaries responsibly and universally educated the youth of Hawaii to read and write in English and Hawaiian which resulted in improved literacy creating a basis for an educated, moral and civic democracy for future U.S. statehood.
A relevant policy balance with a multiplicity of perspectives.
