The Meeting of Kalakaua with President US Grant

Resulting Iolani Palace with Corinthian Columns

respecting Kalakaua's meeting with President Ulysses S. Grant

painting of Iolani Palace in Honolulu

A digital painting of Iolani Palace

Iolani Palace was completed in 1882. The name Iolani, meaning "a white headed hawk", appears to have been diligently and in good faith used to professionally associate the Hawaiian symbol of civic government and the very similar emblem of the U.S. American Bald Eagle of the United States. A relevant policy balance with a multiplicity of perspectives.
